On Sunday, February 8th at 4pm, Tara Whitsitt of Fermentation on Wheels will be teaching a class on starter cultures used with fermented foods & beverages. She will share and discuss a collection of dairy kefir, tibicos, sourdough, and kombucha starters. We'll also discuss ferments that require inoculation - their history, how to feed them, and the delicious & nourishing foods they create. Attendees are encouraged to bring starter cultures of their own to share and may also purchase a starter culture from the workshop to take home with them.
